Full body checkup: what's actually inside, by package

"Full body checkup" is one of those phrases that sounds specific but actually means different things at different labs. At one place it's 10 blood tests. At another it's 80 tests plus an ECG and an ultrasound. The price reflects the difference. Here's exactly what's in each of our three packages — and which one fits.

What goes into a "full body" checkup

A meaningful annual check should cover four categories:

1. Blood-cell health. CBC + iron studies.
2. Metabolic health. Blood sugar (immediate + 3-month average), thyroid, kidney function.
3. Heart and liver health. Lipid profile, liver function test.
4. Nutritional status. Vitamin D, Vitamin B12, calcium.

Most chronic Indian adult problems — diabetes, hypertension, fatty liver, hypothyroidism, anaemia, vitamin deficiency — get caught in one of these four areas long before symptoms appear.

The Basic Health Checkup (₹999, ages 18–60)

Includes: CBC, Fasting Blood Sugar, Lipid Profile, Liver Function Test, Urine Routine.

32 parameters across 5 tests.

Who it suits:

• Adults under 40 with no known illness
• First-ever health checkup
• Office-going professionals doing an annual baseline
• Pre-marriage screening

What it misses: Thyroid, Vitamin D, Vitamin B12, HbA1c, abdominal ultrasound. If any of those matter for your age or symptoms, choose the Comprehensive package instead.

The Comprehensive Health Checkup (₹2,499, ages 30+)

Includes everything in Basic, plus: HbA1c, Kidney Function Test, Thyroid Profile (T3, T4, TSH), Vitamin D, Vitamin B12, Iron Studies, CRP, Whole Abdomen Ultrasound.

62 parameters across 13 tests.

Who it suits:

• Adults 30+ doing their first thorough check
• Family history of diabetes, heart disease, or thyroid issues
• Office-going professionals with weight gain, fatigue, or stress
• Women planning pregnancy in the next 1–2 years
• Anyone restarting fitness after a long break

Why this is our most popular package. The additions over Basic cover the most common silent problems in Indian adults past 30 — pre-diabetes, hypothyroidism, vitamin deficiency, fatty liver. The abdominal ultrasound also catches gallstones, kidney stones, and incidental findings before they cause emergencies.

The Senior Citizen Care (₹2,999, ages 60+)

Includes everything in Comprehensive, plus: Uric Acid, Electrolytes, Calcium, Microalbumin (urine).

67 parameters across 16 tests.

Who it suits:

• All adults aged 60+
• Seniors on multiple medications (BP, sugar, cholesterol, heart)
• Seniors with recent falls
• Seniors with unexplained weight loss or fatigue

Why the additions matter for seniors:

• Uric acid: Gout becomes much more common after 60.
• Electrolytes: Diuretics and BP medications can disturb sodium and potassium.
• Calcium + Vitamin D: Bone health is critical for fall prevention.
• Microalbumin: Catches early kidney damage from BP medications or diabetes years before standard tests show changes.

For men over 50, add the PSA test (₹600) at the same visit.

Should I add anything to my package?

Some common add-ons:

• ECG (₹250): Recommended once a year for adults over 40, or any time you have chest symptoms or palpitations.
• Echo (₹2,500): If you have a heart murmur, breathlessness on exertion, or known cardiac history.
• PSA (₹600): Men over 50, annually.
• Pap smear (₹650) + TVS (₹1,000): Women 30+, every 3 years.
• Bone density (DEXA, ₹1,500): Post-menopausal women, or older men with fracture history.

Do I need fasting?

• Basic and Comprehensive packages: yes, 12 hours of fasting for lipid profile and fasting sugar.
• Senior package: yes, 12 hours.
• All packages: book a morning slot so you can break the fast with breakfast immediately after the blood draw.

What if a result is abnormal?

For every package, we WhatsApp you the consolidated report with abnormal values flagged in red. The Comprehensive and Senior packages include a complimentary 20-minute tele-consult with our physician to walk through the report and suggest what to do next.

For most abnormal findings, the next step is lifestyle changes and a re-test in 3 months. Only a small minority require immediate referral to a specialist.
