What this test is
A Complete Blood Count is the most common blood test ordered in Indian clinics. It measures three groups of cells: red cells that carry oxygen, white cells that fight infection, and platelets that help blood clot. It also reports the size and shape of these cells, which helps doctors spot anaemia, infections, allergies, and blood disorders. The sample is a small vial of blood drawn from your arm. No fasting needed.
